Director of Funds
Joe is Director of Funds at Trident Trust in Guernsey. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He was awarded a MA (Hons) degree in French and Hispanic Studies (Latin American) from the University of Aberdeen in 1995. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Guernsey with PWC in 1999. Prior to joining Trident, he was Head of Fund Services at Carey Group and worked at Kleinwort Benson in Guernsey for over 12 years in roles in financial control, fiduciary operations, business development and as a Director of the fund administration division. Joe is a regular visitor to Hong Kong and currently either serves or has served on the boards of several investment vehicles and funds investing in venture capital, private equity, debt, listed securities and real estate in the Greater China region.
Founder – Managing Partner
Eric is the founder and a General Partner at Ventech China. He has been based in China for 12 years (Beijing and now Shanghai).
While based in Europe, he invested in start-up companies such as Musiwave (sold to Openwave), Calendra (sold to BMC software), Virtools (sold to Dassault Systems), I-Base (sold to Publicis), Inmac Wstore (sold to Systemax Inc.), b-process (sold to Ariba) and several other promising companies.
Previously, Eric had 12 years of operational experience in marketing, sales and country management for independent enterprise software vendors. He held key sales positions in the early years of three software companies: Business Objects, Natsystems and Uniplex, which all enjoyed very strong growth and a successful international development. From 1997 to 2000, Eric has built a strategic consulting franchise dedicated to software enterprises and Internet companies. During this time, he worked with venture capital firms, helped them to manage their portfolio companies and carried out in depth investment due diligences.
Eric Huet holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy (Sorbonne, Paris, France) and graduated from Harvard Business School (GMP).

Dr. Louis Poon has worked in the finance industry for 18
years. Currently, he is the Head of Asia Distribution of VTB
Capital Investment Management. In the past, he worked for
Samsung Asset Management Group, Janus Capital Group;
Robeco Asset Management Group; New Star Asset
Management Group, Franklin Templeton Investments, Dao
Heng Fund Management and Standard Chartered Bank.
Dr. Louis Poon received the Doctor of Business Administration
from City University of Hong Kong. He is also the Chartered
Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; and former
UT sub-committee member of Hong Kong Investment Funds
Association. Mr. Poon joined the Association of Private Bankers in Greater
China Region in 2016 as Vice Chairman as well as the Council
Member of Association of Family Offices in Asia.
Chief Executive Officer
Stuart joined InfraRed Capital Partners in 2006. He moved to Hong Kong in 2007 as a founding member of the InfraRed NF team and has had a key role in building InfraRed NF into a stable real estate management and execution platform. Established in 2006, InfraRed NF is one of the leading international investors in the Greater China real estate market, investing over US$1.6 billion of equity across 22 transactions. InfraRed NF has a proven track record of delivering superior returns through a combination of mezzanine financing and value-add investing.
Stuart is responsible for overseeing strategy, business development, origination and execution of investment opportunities and is a member of the Investment Committee. His responsibilities include the development of the business’ strategic investment themes and direct oversight of portfolio construction, origination and asset management activities.
Prior to joining InfraRed Capital Partners, Stuart worked at Eurohypo AG, a leading European real estate bank where he helped to establish their corporate finance and fund management businesses. Stuart previously worked for JPMorgan in the real estate investment banking department in London.
Stuart holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Manchester University.
Jolyon is a Partner at Simmons & Simmons based in Hong Kong and a structured finance lawyer with a wide variety of experience in banking and finance transactions and in particular is a specialist in Trade, Receivables and Commodity Finance. He works on products such as trade receivables, trade finance, asset based lending and securitisation across Asia covering a diverse portfolio of underlying soft and hard commodities. Most recently he has also been recognised as a leading adviser in Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML), and Tradetech. Jolyon is author of Structures and Solutions in Trade Finance which is a guide to over 70 different Trade Finance techniques and products. Simmons & Simmons was named Best Trade Finance Law Firm in Asia Pacific by Global Trade Review (2015 and 2016).
