WE ARE GUERNSEY is committed to providing the safest environment possible in order to minimise the spread of Covid-19. Therefore, we will be incorporating some enhanced measures.
We want everyone who attends our events to be able to connect, learn and do business effectively, safely and with confidence.
Our events are run in accordance with official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations.
Please see the etc.venues response to COVID-19 in their 18-point plan here.
There will be hand sanitising points at the event entrance and throughout the venue - please feel free to make use of these during the event.
Please be mindful of maintaining a respectful distance from others in attendance. WE ARE GUERNSEY will be providing social distancing badges for delegates who feel more comfortable keeping distance between themselves and others.
A seating plan will not be in place at the venue, however we will look to lay out the conference room seats in a socially-distanced manner where possible.
We kindly ask that all those attending ensure they meet one of the following criteria:
- Double-vaccinated - persons for whom the final vaccination against the coronavirus took place at least 14 days previously, with a vaccine approved by the UK. For more information on which vaccines are approved see here. OR
- Fully recovered - persons who had a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection more than six months ago and who have received at least one vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Union which was at least 14 days ago. OR
- Negative test - persons who have had a negative lateral flow test within the last 24-hours.
Yes, testing is available and can be booked through the UK Government website here.
There is a walkthrough testing site at 65a Basinghall St, London EC2V 5DZ which is a 15-minute walk from the venue.
Whilst the wearing of masks will not be made mandatory, we are highly recommending that delegates wear a mask for the duration of the event.
Masks may be removed when eating and drinking.
Should you forget to bring a mask, individually wrapped masks will be available at the registration desk and throughout the venue.
Please undertake your own health risk assessment before attending the event, considering your own health conditions or vulnerabilities. If you fit into one of the vulnerable groups identified as being highly susceptible to Covid-19, please take the necessary precautions and guidance to protect yourself.
Please do not enter the event if you are feeling unwell, or have been in close contact with anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19 or who has tested positive.
Should you develop symptoms ahead of the event and can no longer attend but wish to send a colleague in your place, please contact Cara-Leah McKay who will assist with the change of registration.
