ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES

As a mature financial services jurisdiction with more than five decades’ experience, Guernsey is globally known and respected as a stable place to do business. We are an integral part of the agenda to build back better, home to expert practitioners who can facilitate and accommodate investors from around the world.

Having successfully returned to hosting physical events in London in late 2021, we are delighted to be back again in 2022 with our next Guernsey Funds Forum. Guernsey has a long history of being the conduit for global capital flow with a proven track record when it comes to providing services to investment vehicles. This ranges from servicing family offices to global private equity firms. Guernsey’s success is built on its agility and nimbleness in responding to the demands and requirements from both investor and global standard setters. At this year’s event, we explore a diverse range of topics that are relevant to today’s climate. Two panels will cover topics including sustainability and technology.

We are delighted to welcome renowned broadcaster, economist and author Dharshini David as keynote speaker.

We are also pleased to confirm our experts for both panels. For the first panel, we will reflect on the development around sustainability seen in financial services, discussing the issue of 'greenwashing' and assessing the investment opportunities this presents. To navigate this landscape, we are pleased to welcome Gillian Browning from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, Dylan Cox from PitchBook, Loraine Johnston from Ashurst and Sona Stadtelmeyer-Petru from J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Our second panel covers the topic of technology. Here, we demystify some of the common misunderstandings about technological adoption in financial services, as well as the role technology can play on our day-to-day lives. Clara Durodie from Cognitive Finance, Deputy Sasha Kazantseva-Miller, Amarjit Singh from EY and Wim Ritz from ZEDRA will join this discussion.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
