Sustainable Finance Week 2023

We’re excited to welcome you in Guernsey once again for our annual Sustainable Finance Week, held at Guernsey’s historic Old Government House Hotel.
Not only are we proud of our island for its breath-taking natural beauty, Guernsey is also a jurisdiction at the forefront of sustainable finance thinking and innovation. Sustainable Finance Week 2023 will offer the opportunity to learn about approaches to leading global and local sustainable finance themes.
The event includes market leading keynote speakers and informative panel sessions, where topical discussions will cover natural capital, ensuring a just transition to net zero, innovative sustainable asset classes and the implementation of global disclosures and frameworks.
During the week there will also be opportunities to engage with the local finance industry, professional service providers and practitioners, and Guernsey government personnel. There will be networking events with allocators, managers and providers of capital (both private and institutional), leading international figures in sustainability, private wealth and investment fund owners and insurance practitioners.
Guernsey is also passionate about community engagement, so we are offering attendees the chance to explore the island’s rich natural environment and engage with the local community. The week combines expert insight with world class displays of nature-based art and photography, viewing the environment through multiple lenses. Our local schools will also participate, to engage with our generation of tomorrow and future young environmental leaders in the making.
