It has been an incredible 12 months for those committed to the cause of sustainable finance and climate change mitigation.
The scale or urgency of the issue – a requirement of 2.5% of global GDP to be invested over 30 years in climate mitigation to limit climate change to 1.5C – explains why finally we are justifiably seeing such an intensity of public opinion on the issue.
2019 has also been an incredible year for Guernsey and its green finance strategy. Our green magazine contains a collection of articles on the products, stories and people in that journey so far, including Guernsey’s membership of the UN FC4S network, its 20 for 20 initiative, and TISE Green.
