Local industry can learn more about doing business in the Middle East

01 May 2018

An expert in corporate law in the Middle East with decades of experience in the region will speak to Guernsey industry practitioners later this month at an event hosted by Guernsey Finance.

Sean Angle, Partner at international law firm Stephenson Harwood, is based in Dubai and has nearly 30 years’ experience in the region, where he has advised on a wide range of corporate transactions, including major infrastructure projects, mergers and restructuring.

The Middle East is a developing market for a number of Guernsey firms, while others have not yet fully explored the opportunities in the region. The event is aimed at both ends of the market.

“We are delighted that we have been able to secure some of Sean’s time to speak to Guernsey firms keen to know more about opportunities available in the Middle East and, indeed, how to go about winning business there,” said Guernsey Finance Chief Executive Dominic Wheatley.

“Sean has valuable insights on the markets and trends in the region, particularly in relation to private wealth and family office business, and can also advise on the best ways to actually do business.”

The event takes place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel from 4-5pm on Tuesday 15 May. To book your free place, click here.
