The latest update from International Business Development Director James Crawford

During the lockdown period a huge initiative was placed reaching out to the private wealth industry in the US with a particular focus on New York. This initiative has been a great success and has put Guernsey in a fantastic position to host a physical private wealth roadshow to New York in the early part of 2021, should all the travel bans be lifted, or a virtual roadshow.

We will be hosting a number of virtual roadshows in the second quarter in the year, with our first focusing on private wealth in South Africa, which will take place at the end of August. There will be more information to follow regarding our virtual US funds roadshows. We are also working on a virtual webinar series in conjunction with Locate Guernsey to focus on relocation and asset restructuring opportunities in Hong Kong.
